I'm not sure if this is the right board to post on or not but I'm wondering if I should make an appointment with my doctor or wait. Here's some background...
I'm 35 years old, went off the pill in November and am in my fifth cycle of charting. However, we're not trying to conceive baby no 1 until next month so I've just been collecting data up until this point.
My issue is according to everything I've read I wouldn't be able to sustain a pregnancy with my charts 6-7 day luteal phase. Of course I've also read it can take 6-12 months for your cycle to return to normal after going off the pill but I've heard the doctor can give you something to help regulate that.
My other issue is that I live in Canada and getting in to see a specialist could potentially take some time.
So, am I'm being super anal about the process and should I wait until we're at least trying or is it worth going to my regular doctor and talking about my charts??
Here is a link to my charts if anyone wants to check them out: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/4058c4
Thanks ladies!
Re: Advice when to seek help?
I don't know what Canada requires as far as moving you on to a specialist, so my advice may miss the mark.
I'd set up an appointment. (I'm guessing you start with your PCP or OBGYN?)
YMMV with your doctor as far as their individual ex

I'd say see a specialist.
Also, I can't swear by it myself, but acupuncturists claim that short luteal phase is one of their easy fixes.

I would say start the ball rolling now with your PCP. The accupunturist is a great idea, too. Being proactive will help you have better chances down the road.....
Best of Luck!
