My name is Jessica, born in '84 so no surprise there. I really dislike my name and prefer to be called Jess but NOT Jessie. I don't like its popularity, I don't care for its sound, it just isn't a feminine name to me. H has a fairly popular name as well so we long ago decided that we wanted to use "old" and less common names for our kids.
