My DD has had a diaper rash for almost 3 weeks now!!! It started of as what looked like normal diaper rash, then little spots began popping up, and now she is bright red and its spreading to her legs where her diaper rubs. I have tried everything! I just moved to Florida and don't have residency yet so the pediatricians here will not let me bring in my DD yet. I called her old pediatrician for advice and they said they can not give me advice over the phone! I am so upset and frustrated!!
We have tried everything! We tried cloth diapers, no diaper, 3 different diaper rash creams, not diaper rash creams, anti-fungle cream (in case in was a yeast infection) but nothing has worked! She doesn't really complain about it except for when I change her. She cries, tries to itch it, and shakes, so I know it hurts when I clean it. We stopped using wipes and only use wash clothes with dove bar soap for sensitive skin. But it just keeps getting worst!
I feel like an absolutely terrible mother at this point and I just want a little advice! At this point I am not even sure if it's a diaper rash anymore.

Nystatin didn't work for us, but generic Lotramin works like a charm. DD2 get rashes like it's her job so we've gotten pretty good at identifying rashes and figuring out how to treat. One very important thing - if it's yeast do NOT use clot
