  1. What week are you in? 34! Any new aches or pains?  not that I remember... just lots of BH contractions
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week?  Well it was going to be acupuncture, but I think my little one flipped on his own, so I will be cancelling that.
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  Dec 18th, if baby is still breech, or is breech again we will schedule the version... =(
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated?  sadly, i dont even remember.
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time?  Luckily I never got M/S that bad, however when i would start to feel a twinge I would eat something or suck on a candy.
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you?  Yes.  I would say thats probably too few.

  7.  Why do they break the bag of waters, can?t nature just take care of it?  I think if things arent progressing quickly enough they will break the water.  Some babies are born with the water still intact, so no, nature doesnt always take care of it.
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Probably in the next week or two. Did you have it inspected?  we might.
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week?  Dr. Pepper, i want one right now as a matter of fact!
  
  10.  Questions for next week?  what do your braxton hicks feel like??

  2. What are you looking forward to this next week?  My bff coming all the way from So. OR. for our holiday baking festivities   Also awaiting AF's visit (hoping she doesn't visit, that's one visitor I can leave without!)
  
  3. For anyone who has fertility issues or concerns, how long did you TTC before seeking medical attention or advice?  If I'm not preggers this cycle, I think I talk to my doctor during my annual exam in Jan. and see if we can start doing some tests
  
  4. Have you told your friends/family you?re ttc?  Yeah, I'm not very good at keeping secrets
  
  5.  What is the first thing you?ll do when you find out you?re pg?  Tell my bff, she is part of the plan on how I'm going to tell DH

  2. What are you looking forward to this next week?

  Tonight we're going to see the Christmas Ships (same place we got engaged last year!) and looking forward to the weekend, as usual!
  
  3. For anyone who has fertility issues or concerns, how long did you TTC before seeking medical attention or advice?

  This was my question b/c I was curious.  For us, we've decided that after 6 cycles of trying, we'll get him tested and then have myself more thoroughly checked.
  
  4. Have you told your friends/family you?re ttc?

  We've told friends and my sister only, but strictly no other family.  I don't want my mom asking me how it's going every time I talk to her.  It will be depressing if I have to say we're still not pg.
  
  5.  What is the first thing you?ll do when you find out you?re pg? 

  DH and I will cry, laugh, and hug each other!

  3. When is your next appointment? December 31st Will anything special happen at that appointment? My group B strep test.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? About 16 weeks.
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time? Oiy - it does suck - I took lots of foods that calmed my tummy (and what that is is different for everyone) and I sucked on a lot of hard candies.  I found if I kept a little something in my tummy all the time, I could get by.
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you? I think that'd be a nice intimate little setting and you should go for it!

  7.  Why do they break the bag of waters, can?t nature just take care of it?  Because sometimes it helps labor progress - so if you're having a hard time getting started, sometimes they'll break them for you.
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected? We're buying ours this Wednesday and I'll probably have DH install them this weekend - just the bases - I won't drive around with the carrier in the car.  I'm planning on having them inspected at the next St. Francis inspection in January.
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week?  Egg Salad Sandwich, and I haven't had any yet either!
  
  10.  Questions for next week?  What's your biggest fear with delivery?

  Wrapping presents this weekend.  Finishing up shopping this weekend. Comfirming ovulation with high temps this week! 
  
  3. For anyone who has fertility issues or concerns, how long did you TTC before seeking medical attention or advice?

  I'm curious on this too.  This is cycle #4 TTC'ing #2 and so far I've had perfect timing with O, so getting depressed it has not happened yet....Probably at 6 months I'd call the Dr.
  
  4. Have you told your friends/family you?re ttc?  Kinda.  Not directly.
  
  5.  What is the first thing you?ll do when you find out you?re pg? Have a little anxiety attack about paying for daycare for 2!    Make a "Big sister onsie" for Miss A to wear and suprise her Daddy!

  Yes, we were released from our RE last Friday and have our first regular OB appt tomorrow.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 10.  Just migraines and non-stop MS
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? New OB appointment and getting away to the inlaw's mcmansion in leavenworth for some down time with DH.
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Tomorrow - Not sure if anything special. First appt with new OB.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? Last Thursday got first bump. Dr. said its earlier due to major doses of progesterone. 

  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time?  Trying to figure that out myself. Yesterday was the worst.
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you?  Not if it were close friends celebrating the new addition.

Thursday.  Another internal?  Hoping for a little progress.  Then I have a growth scan ultrasound on Monday, Dec 15 to see if my babe really is huge.
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? I noticed a bump at 14 weeks, everyone else started noticing around 18 weeks.. 
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time?  I was miserable.  I threw up everyday pretty much until 14 weeks.  I have a bathroom in my classroom and used that serveral times while my students were out of class.  Sometimes gingersnaps helped a little though.  GL!
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you?  I dont think you should worry about the number of people there.  It will be nice to have those who really care there and thats all that matters.

  I sure hope mine breaks on its own (just not at school), but if I'm in the laboring in the hospital and the Dr thinks it will help with progression then I'm all for them helping out.

  My first trimester screening went great! Our results came back at 1/18,000 for Down Syndrome and 1/33,000 for the other trisomy disorders. Their NT measurements were both great also. It was so cool to watch them squirm and move on the u/s. We actually saw Baby A and B elbowing each other and reacting to one another's movements. Also, I can tell they are cute already.

  Also, last week was extra exciting because we finally told our friends! Everyone is so excited and its so great to have their support.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 13-14. I think heartburn is starting, I'm peeing a lot more, and I feel like my intestines are moving around. I also am still unable to brush my teeth without puking, but floss and mouth wash seem to do the trick!
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Just relaxing and hitting week 14 where my sickness is supposed to magically disappear!
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next week. Nothing special that I know of. I'm hoping for another u/s. I've been so spoiled seeing my babies all the time.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? My tummy is growing, but people still don't notice and can't believe when I tell them I'm pregnant with twins. I'm almost 6 ft tall though so they've got some extra room in there.
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time? I've lucked out and have mostly been sick at night after work. I think it hits the worst when I haven't eaten in while or when I'm really tired.

  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected? We've read that with twins we should have everything prepared by 28 weeks. I'm thinking we will have atleast bought 2 carseats by then and atleast make sure DH knows how to install them when the time comes.
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week? Hot Pockets! They've been the best quick snack to prevent me from getting too hungry and giving me time to decide what I should eat for my actual meal.

It speeds the progress....yes, eventually it will break on it's own, but from experience you definitely get much more pressure after it is broken so my assumption is that unbroken water = baby isn't making as much progress downward.
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected? We installed it about 35 weeks (My DH is a ridiculous preplanner) and no, we never got around to getting it inspected...but I am having my dealership do it when I am in for a oil change.

  Update: My appointment went great! I heard last week that my glucose test was negative, so all we really had to cover this week was the birth plan. Oh, and baby's heartbeat is 131!

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 31w6d My belly feels stretched tight beyond belief, and I'm now using a small, folded hand towel behind my back when I sleep for lumbar support. Otherwise I get a sore back in the morning.
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Going to register at an actual store. I love Wishpot and Alternative Gift Registry, but I want to get my hands on things and check them out!
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? December 23. We have a group of Nurse-Midwives, so we're meeting with one of the few we haven't seen yet.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? I think mine was 16 weeks. That's when I felt like I looked pregnant.
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time? I still have no idea. My biggest allies were an understanding boss, a close bathroom, a desk-side waste basket and being discreet. Honestly, I don't know how women who don't work in an office do it...I felt like such a wimp. It also helped that I didn't have any after-work commitments, so I could look forward to napping.

Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you? 4 couples might be too few in a traditional sense, but all you have to do is figure out what kind of get-together would work best for that group.

  7.  Why do they break the bag of waters, can?t nature just take care of it? My question. I actually spoke to a doula on Thursday and she said that sometimes your water breaks on its own (either in early labor or active labor) and sometimes the baby will come out with the bag of waters intact...and it's all perfectly normal and healthy.
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected? End of January...if we ever decide what seat to get. I don't know if we'll do the pre-inspection or just have them inspect it before we leave.
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week? Whole Milk and lots of it.

  Grr... to the bump board.  Tried posting my answers 2x but none of them worked yesterday.  Hopefully it will work this time around.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?  34 weeks and feeling indigestion and a little bit of heart burn. 
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week?  My baby shower is this Saturday. 
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  My ob appointment is this Thursday.  It's my first time doing a nst at her office since I've only been doing them at Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine. 
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated?  Probably around week 14-15.  That's when most of my pants couldn't fit without a bella band.
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time?  I learned that I needed to have real food in my stomach between lunch and dinner or else I would have really bad m/s by the time I got home.  During work I just ran to the bathroom when needed and hoped nobody else was in there too.  It never got bad enough to use the waste basket.  Bad snack items never helped my m/s but would help to eat blocks of cheese, fruit, or possibly some meat.
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you?  It is a bit small if you are looking at it in a traditional sense but it would be ok just to do a small gathering with them and call it something else.  The guys may be taken back if it were more formal and they had to play baby games and etc.

  7.  Why do they break the bag of waters, can?t nature just take care of it?  Usually nature can take its own course but it sometimes depends if you want to experience contracts for a much longer period of time.  My birth instructor told my class that most women do not break their water on their own before reaching the hospital.  Lots of women need assistance to get further dilated. 
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected?  We've had our carseats for almost a month now so hopefully I can get dh to install the bases in the next week or two. We'll probably sign up for the Overlake inspection in February after dd is born. 
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week?  Mine has been neste crunch ice cream sticks and some mcdonalds burgers. 
  
  10.  Questions for next week?  What baby stores will give you a completion coupon and how much discount do they give you?

  1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW?  So happy to be on the 2WW, after egg retrieval last Thursday (they got 13 out my one ovary) and we had our 2 little embryos transfer on Sunday.
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week?  Not looking forward to more Progesterone shots until the PG test and estrogen patches that itch.  And I can't give the shots to myself...I faint!  Oh the joys of IVF.  I'll be very happy to get back to normal...but a pregnant normal.  :-)  PG test is scheduled for 12/19.
  
  3. For anyone who has fertility issues or concerns, how long did you TTC before seeking medical attention or advice?  They say under 35, try for a yr. Over 35 then 6 months.  I'm 31 and we tried for almost a year before we started testing.
  
  4. Have you told your friends/family you?re ttc?  Some close friends know that we are in an IVF cycle.  I have 2 close friends who had to do it as well and have been great resources.
  
  5.  What is the first thing you?ll do when you find out you?re pg?  Try to relax and enjoy being pregnant.

   Update for baby registries.  Gotta love that.

  BFP on 07/18/08. Miscarriage 07/30/08. BFP 3/25/09. Confirmed second miscarriage, no heartbeat, no growth beyond 7 weeks, 5/19/09. TTC again, on baby aspirin, due to value of 23 on Anticardiolipin Antibodies. BFP 11/15/09. Brown spotting, Beta 3735 11/25/09, Beta 5602 11/28/09. Anticardiolipin Antibodies now negative, still on baby asprin. On 100 mg of Prometrium (progesterone) until 10 weeks. Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164.   TTC 1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Cycle #9 Waiting to O

  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Seeing my mom and grandma (I've been sick and can't see my mom until I'm completely better - she's going through chemo).

  3. For anyone who has fertility issues or concerns, how long did you TTC before seeking medical attention or advice? DH and I have been TTC for awhile and are looking into seeking medical attention in the months to come. It will be a year in a few months. My Dr. said I needed to wait a year before seeing anyone.

  4. Have you told your friends/family you?re ttc? Yep but everyone has been cool about not asking us about it, seeing as we are still on pg.

  5. What is the first thing you?ll do when you find out you?re pg? Cry tears of joy!

  ah i'm always a day or two behind..sorry gals i'll get better!!! 

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 8 and the constant hunger and sleepiness came back! The all day nausea has gone away...but if i get too hungry it's back with avengance!
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? I have an apt with my midwife and all the new patiants at my Dr's office. It's a 'family health history and getting to know us' apt. I'm excited to meet all 5 of the MW's in my Dr's office and anxious to meet mine!
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? above. I do have an apt. on Jan 8th for my 12 weeks health exam.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? feeling bloated but i think i'm getting a little hardness just below my belly button...does anyone know if this means anything...liks is this baby?
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time? I pack enough food in the mornings to feed my whole office! I swear, i bring anything that looks/sounds good in the monrings. I figure better safe and have too much left at the end of the day, then get too hungry or have nothing i brought sound good.
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you? no i think it'd be intimate. I think that would be called a 'sprinkle' over a shower. Meaning, close friends 'sprinkle' you with a few nice things where as a shower is for your family and friends to give you all the things you need (vs. want). Just a thought!

  7.  Why do they break the bag of waters, can?t nature just take care of it?
  
  8.  When did/will you install the car seat?  Did you have it inspected?
  
  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week? lemmon cookies! I bought the variety pack for my hubby to take to work but i've almost eaten all the lemmon ones myself! and meat! I even had steak this week and i dont like red meat!
  
  10.  Questions for next week? how will you celebrate Christmas and incorporate your baby to be?

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I'm in the 16th week, still having the bad m/s and I have another UTI - and have started getting RLP Its been fun, let me tell you.
  
  2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Nothing really, hopefully feeling better.
  
  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? A week from tomorrow, just a quick check-up - urine sample, listen to the hb, etc.
  
  4. When did your tummy pop out and you actually look pregnant versus feeling bloated? See signature It happened in the last couple of weeks!
  
  5.  How did you cope with M/S and working full time? I don't work full time, I was doing some retail part time but quit because I got too sick and needed to take care of myself
  
  6. Some of us have showers with lots of people ? but on the flip side, how few is too few?  Would nothing but 4 couples at a co-ed shower feel weird to you? Eh, it would be different but I think it could be a lot of fun and really personal!

  9.  What?s your biggest craving this week? Whatever sounds good, which is usually juice and dry cereal - with the random McD's craving thrown in there every so often.
