when you are deathly ill and your spunky, energetic, and ornery toddler is juuuuust fine? I took a sick day today, and so far I've spent it chasing Miles around the house, trying to keep him busy and out of trouble. Every time I head to the bathroom to pop some sudafed, I get sidetracked by pulling M out of the toilet, trying to keep him out of closets, or cleaning up his latest mess. I'm starting to think going to work would have been more relaxing!
I would have taken him to the sitter, but his sitter lives out by my work, and we have a 35 minute commute. That would give me two hours of driving by the time I took him and came back home this morning then went to pick him back up tonight.

Ugh, sorry that's happening! I do call my mom though and she takes him away. Which is another good reason to keep looking for those jobs near your family haha!

Our daycare is by our house, but when I was sick with B over a weekend I went with some activities that tied him down - like painting and playdoh.
