I pump twice while at work. I store my pump in my office, and the pumped milk and pump parts in the refrigerator in our office kitchen. I use the Medela quick wipes to wipe of the suction, valve, and membrane after each pump, but I don't run anything under water and really wash until I get home. I store the parts in a big freezer bag in the refrigerator.
When I pull the parts out of the bag to pump, they are wet and weird smelling. It bothers me a lot. So, lately I've been towel drying them after I clean them with the quick wipes - but they're still moist and smell weird. Short of placing the parts on a shelf out in the open in the refrigerator sans bag, I don't know how to avoid the wetness or the smell. Do I buy a little mini refrigerator for my office? How do you store your parts? What is your pumping routine at work, and where do you put your stuff? TIA!
ETA: edited title to include BFers too.
Re: Working BFers/EPers, please come in...
I have my own pumping room so my pump stays out. Anyway, after pumping I take the top part and do a really good rinse (hot hot water and make sure they are clean) and then take back to my room to let air dry.
At home, I pour the milk in the ne

I pump 3x at work. Both sides at 10am. One side at around 1pm. The other side around 3:30pm.
I store every part except the bottle in the refrigerator for next use. I wash the bottle and turn it upside down so that the water drips out.

I pump at work. After I pump I put the parts in a plastic bag and put them in the fridge. I don't seal the bag though. I've never noticed a bad smell, just the smell of breast milk. No rinsing involved at work. Each night I wash the parts and use the s

I don't store mine in the fridge either. I just carry them through the office, wash them out in the kitchen sink w/ hot water, and sit them on a paper towel near where I pump to dry until next time. At the end of the day, I dry the parts of
