My mom is flying up from Florida to throw my shower next weekend with a good friend of mine cohosting. Because of the cost, I said it was no problem to have the shower at my house. I haven't been to many showers so my question is: what do you look for when you go to a home shower? What is comfortable/uncomfortable? We will be having brunch, mimosas well, not me for that one, and cake. We are not a big game crowd so I'm assuming that's going to be skipped. What have you liked about showers at MTB's house and what have you not liked? TIA.

I really like home showers, as long as I have a place to sit.
I've also had to sit on the floor at three of the four in-home showers I've gone to.
