Formula question

I'm just wondering can a heated bottle be saved?
I know a bottle is good for 2 hrs out of the fridge and once the baby starts to drink from it then it's only good an hour.
BUT I have heated a bottle and realized my dd was still asleep and not ready to eat. Can I put it back it the fridge?
This has happened to me a couple of times so I just kept it out and if she woke up within 2 hrs I used it. But I have had to waste some. It mainly happens to me at night.

    If you've already heated it I would put it back in the fridge until she wakes up.

    No, once it's heated it has to be used within the hour. That happened to me this morning. I heated it and by the time I got back to LO, he was asleep! Luckily, he was happy to sleep and eat.

    Ok thank you!! I thought it would be good for 2 hrs heated and not eaten.
    I am learning though so hopefully I don't have anymore wasted full bottles.
