Really dumb baby proofing question

We are going to my IL's condo for a week.  DS can operate door knobs as well as latches no problem.  The door knob covers work to stop him about 90% of the time. Is there something like that for a latch style door handle?  Or am I just bringing baby gates with me?

    Now, I know there are those things for door handles. I am not sure if you can buy them here. Check toys are us. When do you need them?

    They have them at Target and Buy Buy baby. We have latch doors so we bought some, they stick to the door part and will pull off teh wood/paint if left too long. We just got a slide lock to put at the top of the door instead. GL!

    Thanks!  I need them for next weekend. Home Depot has a pretty big baby proofing section I will try them and toys r us.
