Introducing Milk

My son will be 1 year next week and I am going to start giving him whole milk. He has his one year check up next week also and I know the pediatrician will talk to us about it but I am just curious how everyone is introducing milk? Are you mixing with with formula? How much are you giving?

    We haven't started yet, but our pediatrician told us to introduce milk slowly.  She suggested replacing 1 oz formula with 1 oz milk per bottle and after several days replace 2 oz per bottle and to continue this way until he is on all whole milk. &nbs

    I did a mixture of half formula and half milk until I ran out of my last container of formula. It was probably one week until he was completely on milk.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!!     6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    I tried mixing with BM and DD wouldn't take it, but once it was straight milk, she was fine. If your LO has trouble with the mix, try doing 100%.

    We started off by substituting one bottle of formula a day with cow's milk but honestly, she did so well with it that we ended up cutting formula out entirely after a week and a half.

    We started transitioning at 11 months. DD will be moving to the 1-year-olds room at day care next week, and I am also planning to finish weaning that following week due to wanting to start trying for #2. That's a lot of change at one time, so we wanted
