First appointment today- U/S appt tomorrow! So nervous!

I had my first appointment today and it wasn't too exciting.  I had an exam and talked to the doctor.  I went and had blood drawn and will hear results on Monday. I scheduled my U/S appointment for tomorrow and I am so NERVOUS! Tomorrow I will be six weeks and I am so scared to go and not see the heartbeat.  I know it may be too soon but I feel like if I go and don't see anything it will be a week of worrying until I go for another one. Sorry, just had to vent! The crazy bad dreams that I have been having aren't helping either :(

    While you probably won't be able to hear the heart beat yet, you should be able to see the baby's heart beat. The heart usually starts beating between 5 and six weeks. =)

    Good luck.   However, the risk of not hearing a heartbeat is often why many docs will wait until you are 7 weeks or later to do an u/s.  That way if your ovulation dates were a little off, you still should be far enough along to hear a h
