Both DH and I work full time and, although I like the concept and benefits of CD, I'm trying to do as much research as possible to see if it would be realistic to fit into our day- to- day before i makethe initial investment on CDs. Right now, I am thinking pockets or hybrid CD would work best.
I can imagine I would quickly get burnt out with doing laundry every day after one of us gets home from work and all the other extra steps it takes to CD. I plan to breastfeed and pump and, after looking and some daily schedules for this, I feel I may already be overwhelmed/exhausted with adjusting to a breast feeding schedule.
How do other mommas in this situation manage?
Re: Realistic to CD w/ 2 FT parents?
I can't tell how old your Los are.. Since I'm on mobile. But washing every other day doesn't sound as bad at having two times the stinky trash!
There's lots of ways to build
You just get organized.
This just happens with having kids.
Friday marks one year of cloth diapering for me.
I do the laundry and most of the stuffing. You establish a routine and stick with it. Allow yourself a litt
We're both FT and we CD - and we have regularly scheduled evening events at least twice a week every week. Not saying I'm super mom, just trying to say that you can make it work! We wash every other day, btw, not every day.

It's totally doable!
We are a wash every day household. I just find that I'd rather do smaller loads in my HE FL so that they wash a bit better. And it just works out that it's more manageable for me. I just toss everythi
My husband and I both work full time and it works for us. I wash every other day or every third day. I have a pail next to the changing table and a wetbag I send to the babysitter each day. When I get home, I move those to the pail an
Wow, CDing sounds complicated, maybe I'm doing it wrong lol. Just teasing. It's really not that hard or scary. Babies=more laundry. Whether they poop on their clothes from blow outs or poop in CDs there's really no difference. We wash every other
I SAH, but CDing really doesn't take anymore time than disposables (I used them with my son, and just started CDing with DD about 6 weeks ago). I stuff my pockets when watching tv and it takes a few minutes. Laundry gets done every other da
I thought I would love pockets too. I convinced FI that he would love them too. Turns out, we aren't a huge fan of pockets for our newborn, but do have a few for our toddler. I found that prefolds and fitted with covers worked best with a newborn. (Whi
I'm still on maternity leave, but I don't envision diaper laundry being too much trouble. We've had a hell of a time with BFing, so I'm currently pumping 8+ times a day. Pumping, washing pump parts and bottles, etc is all WAY more work for
