Getting the sun out of our eyes

Hey everybody!

We turned Jack's car seat around a few weeks ago and since then I'm having a hard time keeping the sun out of his eyes. Sometimes the front visor works and in certain areas I can hold my hand up and block it, but he won't keep sunglasses on and it can really beat in sometimes.

Any ideas that don't involve completely blocking my view? Do they make sun shades for convertible car seats?

Thanks!!

Val

Re: Getting the sun out of our eyes

  • No sun shades that I've seen so far.  The only thing that works for us is giving him a blanket to hide his face in, or using his hands to cover his eyes.  He doesn't always do it, but we've been working on it.

  • we just have shades on the two back windows and on one way back window. Helps most of the time.
  • L was and is still very sensitive to the sun. She used to carry her blankies with her and hide her eyes with the blankies. Then when she was a little older, she would wear sunglasses.

  • I would work on sunglasses.  Vi has to wear them and we worked on it all summer last year.  We would wear them inside a lot (all of us), talk about how cool they were, praise her for being such a big girl, and let her take them on and off o
