Inducing Encouragement Needed!!

Hey Ladies!

I am due on Saturday. At my Dr. Appt today I did NOT plan on her asking me when I would like to schedule my induction date. . . I DON'T want to be induced, and still have a chance not to be, the key will be getting this little guy out before Tuesday, March 19th (my tentative induction date).

Please share your inducing stories and maybe some encouragement. . . I am scared of it.

    Is there a reason she wants to induce you so close to your due date?

    I was going to ask the same question a Windy.  My dr said 1 week to 10 days after my due date.  My friends dr said the same thing.  If nothing is wrong I would see if you could wait a little longer then 3 days

    My doctor will not set a date to induce till I'm 41 weeks and then they schedule it as close to 42 weeks as possible. They said that b/c they don't know exact date of conception they expect that you could go 2 weeks after the date they give you. If you do

    I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm due on the 23rd. The nurse at my delivering doctor's office said that if I don't have LO by next Thursday, my next appt., then we would be talking induction. I suppose that could be anytime after my appt. but, at the appt

    I was scheduled to be induced Monday and went into labor naturally on Sunday. I was also 0cm dilated and 0 effaced during my appt Fridy and went into the hospital 6 hours after the first light contractions and I was already 4 cm and 90 effaced :
