Easter eggs/candy ?

So last year my LO couldn't even sit on his own so I dressed him up but didn't give him any candy or eggs or anythgin because he was too little. Now he's playing more with his cousins and obvisouly more active. I still don't want him getting in the habbit of candy but I think he'd have fun particpating in and egg hunt with his cousins.

What are some alternatives to candy? I am also doing some classic hard boiled eggs because he does like those. Also do you plan on getting a basket or gift or anything? I still see LO as so little but he really loves playing with the big boys
