Who didn't walk at a year?  When did LO start walking?

 DD started crawling at 11 months.  She still crawls and shows very little interest in walking at 14 months. 

Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    DD didn't crawl until she was almost 13 months, and started walking the next day....  She was cruising for a long time, she really wanted to walk and some gross motor delays (late rolling, and crawling obviously) but all worked itself out. &nbsp

    He started walking at 13.5 months. Now he can stand up by himself...he still trips if he tries to run.

    He didn't crawl on his hands and knees until almost 12 months, he started army crawling at 8 months or so.

    DS is 14 months and still not walking on his feet.  He walks on his knees great and he CAN walk, he just won't do it.  He's taken about 15 steps at once total, and then won't do it again.

    DD#1 walked at 13 months and so did DD#2.  At a year she was pretty close but not letting go.  One day at around 13 months she just let go and has been walking ever since.  I wouldn't worry about a 14 month old not&

    My guy started crawling right around 9 months, but didn't walk till almost 13 months.

    DD never crawled, she scooted around on her butt. She would walk holding hands starting around 12 months. Walked on her own at 16 months but still preferred holding hands. Now at 18 months she walks on her own.

    DD2 didn't walk until 15 months.  She was crawling and cruising for quite a while prior though.

    My DD took her first steps about a week shy of 16 months. She was full on walking the next day. She has a cautious personality and likes to KNOW she can do something before she tries it. She was like that then and she's like that now!

    DS turned 14 months on Feb 27. He had been cruising for months but only taking one or two tentative steps every so often. Certainly not even that at 1 year. It was March 5 when he took multiple steps and since then he has really gotten the hang of it. Sti

    DD1 didn't walk until 14 months. DD2 never crawled and started walking at 9 months. 

    Kids are all different. I wouldn't worry yet.

    My DS didn't walk till 14 months. He had no interest till then and was a super fast crawler.

    My DD just started walking. She is 16 months old. They walk when they are ready! She is a fast crawler...so for her this walking thing just wasn't needed...she could get anywhere she wanted to in a flash and then just stand up!

    Oh, and if you ask

    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!

    A good friend of mine has 3 kids. Her oldest was 17 1/2 months when she finally decided she wanted to walk, the middle child was about 16 months and the youngest is just a year old and he cruises a little but mostly crawls everywhere. Every child will do

    DD is 17 months and will only walk holding things. If she does do it solo she will take a few steps, notice you are watching and the abort the mission. She can do it but seems nervous. Pedi said not to worry it will happen when she is super comfy. Im in n

    DD is a week shy of 16m and can't walk on her own. She practically runs with her walker or holding hands but if you let go she just falls right down. She wont see the pedi till 18m so I am not sure what they would say but I am not too worried I know there

    DD didn't walk till 19 months!   She just had zero desire to walk, I was going to take her to the pedi to talk about early intervention and she walked that day.  Now she walks like she's been doing it forever.
