Baby Showers

Very Small Baby Shower

One of my close friends is having a baby and I would like to throw her a shower.  She has only lived in our city for 3 years now and I only can think of 4 other people to invite that she knows in town.  I asked her for a guest list in case she has any other friends/family in town that I do not know of.

However, any ideas on hosting a very small shower?  I am open to anything.

  • Do you have tearooms around you, you can host a small shower in a quaint room, for a party of 5 or 6 should not cost you that much, it's intimate and a nice treat for the guests.

  • Sunday brunch with mimosas would be nice.

Sounds great. I went to a small bridal shower
  • What about just a private dining space at her favorite restaurant? 4-5 people shouldn't be too expensive? Maybe set the time during the 3pm hour so that you can just order appetizers instead of paying for a plated meal.
