My friends from college just had their adorable baby boy on Sunday.  They've known since the A/S at about 20 weeks that he was going to be a special heart baby--specifically he has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

Tomorrow he goes in for his first in a series of three surgeries.  I may not be religious, but they are.  So any thoughts, prayers, good vibes, etc., that you can send their way for a successful and uneventful surgery would be much appreciated. <3

IUI 1-3 = 3 BFNs ♥ IVF 11/12 = BFFN :( ♥ IUI 4 + Injects 1/13 = BFN :( ♥ IUI 5 + Injects = cancelled due to cyst

    <3 Lots of T&Ps for your friend. I used to work in the Peds ICU and worked with a few kids with hypoplastic heart syndrome. It's a scary road to travel. I'll keep him in my thoughts, and I hope for an uneventful surgery tomorrow!
