Hey! Sooo was curious to Know how far along you all were when you found out the gender?! I'm 15 weeks and I have an ultrasound booked for the 26 I will be 17 weeks exactly that day and I'm nt sure what to do. My doctor thought I was further along before I had my first ultrasound and had booked this appointment without jnowing for sure. I spoke to the receptionist this morning and they are waiting to see if the appointment can be switched to 2 weeks later. I'm sure it depends on the ultrasound tech, and also the babies position if they would be able to tell the sex.. But anywho.. How many weeks were you lol.
Thanks!

Is this ultrasound your anatomy scan? Some docs do them earlier, but I think the recommended time is 18-22 weeks (with 20 being the average). It's about taking measurements of heart, brain, legs, stomach, head, hands, etc, etc..
I totally know the reasonings for the anatomy scan this is my second pregnancy but I'm sure you can agree with my that finding out the gender is a plus and totally exciting..
I had an elective ultrasound at 15w,6d because my husband was going to miss my anatomy scan. We were told boy. I had my anatomy scan last week at 20w, 6d and I was given confirmation that yes, it's a boy. So that was accurate.
