When it rains, it pours! Long lol
I can't make this stuff up! I thought I would post my morning for you so you could have a laugh at my expense. The joys of mommyhood lol.
It started out so peacefully. I was letting M take a long nap on me to make up for the both of us not getting a whole lot last night. All of a sudden I hear a grumble, some flatulence, and feel something warm. Uh oh. We've had a leak. M had peed right through my clothes and all over the couch.
I go to change him. It's a blowout. That's okay, he likes to play in just his diaper. I'll get him all cleaned up and let him have some tummy time on his new Dalmatian toy blanket.
Oh now my little man is hungry. Ok breakfast time. Oh whoops! almost sat in the wet pee spot. Remember to clean that right after he eats! Except why are you getting angry? M had caught his hand in a long string that has unraveled from my nursing bra. The more I try to get it out the more he gets tangled. Time for scissors.
I put him on the changing table. M puts his hand in his mouth and starts spitting. Uh oh. What's all that? The Dalmatian is literally shedding?!? M has gobs of white faux fur in his hands. I try to use wipes to get it off. No luck, that stuff is everywhere. Wait, what is that wet stuff on me? I reach down to feel it before I remember, oh yeah, I've been peed on.
I take off my clothes and carry M to the sink to try to rinse the fur out of his hands. Half way through he spits up all over himself and me. Where is that burp cloth? Out in the living room by the open window? Great. I try to sneak out below the window to grab the cloth, hoping the neighbors don't see me in my naked state!
I put M back on the changing table. Finally I can get him dressed again. He pushes his feet down on the table and scorches himself up... Into the side of the changing table. Well, obviously that hurts so now he's crying. I pick him up and think maybe just a diaper will do for the day after all lol!
My mom texts. She's coming over. Crud, now I have to get dressed, get my son dressed and help my house look somewhat decent. And not forget to clean the pee off the couch!
I know it was long, but I had to sit back and laugh! I figured you ladies could use a laugh at a fellow mom since we are all going through the same thing
Hope your days are going more smoothly than mine! And hoping that my day gets a little more mellow from here!

We've had a few pee on the couch incidents, followed by the spit up all over both of us.
