OWTs annoy anyone else.

With my first I didn't find out the gender so I had a little fun with them, however, my grandmother kept telling me the way I carried I was having a boy.  Chinese calendar said Girl...everything else was 50/50.  I had a girl.

with my second, OWTs generally annoyed me.  My MIL insisted some moon phase stuff predicted a boy, Chinese calendar predicted boy, everyone kept asking how I was carrying since I lived far away from family.  I just felt like people had way too much interest in predicting the gender and the day I would go into labor based on OWTs, which also led to a ton of probing questions about my cervix.  I had a boy.

this time almost all OWTs say girl.  Ring over belly, moon phases, Chinese calendar, breaking out...and so on.   I am having a boy.  So everyone has excuses why their fave OWT didn't work this time.  I just feel like they were fun back in the day, when u/s were not the norm (much like people nay saying u/s results earlier than 18ish weeks because that wasn't always the norm) but now I find them to be maddening.  I don't even want to hear them and only did any or checked any as time went on to appease people...the only thing that I felt held any weight this time. was m/s.  I was super sick with my DD, sick, but not as bad with my son and fine this time...I was sick during week six, but I think I can credit that to a bug.  I think it was probably more coincidental. (As are all correct OWT predictions)

Anyone else feel this way?

    I think they are annoying on here. Like when people ask if the OWTs were true for them.

    I haven't paid really any attention to them this time because last time all the OWT's said girl and I had a boy.  Chinese calendar says boy this time so hopefully its wrong and its a girl but seriously....none of those OWT's are legit

    I don't pay any bit of attention to them at all. I don't get the facisination.

    All testing shows both H and I are perfectly normal. Baby Nacho had triploidy.

    I think they are annoying, especially the ones having to do with stuff like waving a ring around or the chinese calendar. For something like m/s I could imagine a biological reason so I'd want to see whether its been verified one way or another with a sci

    I figured it was only time before my MIL started with her OWTs. Sure enough, the last time DH spoke to his mom, she told him that if my butt got wide, then it will be a boy. So I guess I can expect my a$$ to be stared at over Easter when they visit.

    I wouldn't believe any OWTs however the theory about the placenta being on the right or left I did look into and if it's correct I should be having a boy and a girl so we will have to see if that's true. Oh and ages ago I had my cards read by this lady wh
