XP: Chico Keyfit adapter for City Mini

Hey ladies. I will be going to the beach in a couple of weeks. I think my city mini GT will be a lot better for all the walking and for the beach than my snap and go.

My DS will be 3 months when we go and I know they don't suggest using it that young. My son is a big boy, 14 pounds as of two weeks ago, will probably be 15 by the time we go. 

 Do you think I need to purchase a carseat adapter? Do they even have them for the Chico Keyfit? I only saw an adapter at BBB for the Britax.

Anyone have the adapter? Are you still able to use the huge umbrella shade on the City Mini GT with the  carseat?

    I thought the city mini's (aside from the micro) had a full recline? I would use it like that. DD2 was in our double city mini at 2 months on (only because that's when we bought it) and had no issues. 

    It does, just wasn't sure if it was safe. Others have said the same, thanks!

    Either do the full recline or get the belly bar. The belly bar and the carseat adapter work the same but you'll get more use out of the bar than the adapter.
