Your kid vomits in your dinner and it doesn't even phase you. Also, when LO vomits all over your clean clothes, right as you are getting ready to walk out of the door when you leave in the morning. What was the moment you realized you hit mom-dom??

    There was a diaper (clean for emergencies) and a sippy cup in my purse.

    I was thinking of when  DS puked for the 1st time and I ran towards him instead of away from him.

    Same thing - and then I was amazed at how instinctual that hand-to-mouth motion was. I didn't even think about it.

    When DS had been sick with a high fever and bad cold for three days, and then I got a fever and his cold after not having slept much for those three days...I took his temperature rectally, put down the thermometer only to pick it up a few minutes later (you know where this is going) to take my own temp...orally.

    My DH witnessed the whole thing with very wide eyes, but knew better than to make a comment. I think that was his moment, too, when he knew I was officially a mom. LOL

    When I was sucking the pesto off my pasta before giving it to DS to try. It briefly crossed my mind that others might find that gross.
