We're taking our (will be) 15-month old baby to Italy and Switzerland in late April/early May. Any advice on an easy to travel stroller that is lightweight, comfy, and has at least a little storage space? If you have specific international travel experience with your recommended stroller, that is especially helpful.
Re: Stroller recs for international travel?

We just got back from a 2-week trip to Asia! I can't remember the brand (too lazy to get up and check) but it I believe it's this brand.

It has decent storage space, 4-cup holder with a zippered pocket in the middle, easy folding, light, and 5 pt harness. It doesn't steer the greatest so you can't really do one-handed steering but it managed to survive the streets of Vietnam and the Philippines. Both kids rode in it comfortably. It doesn't recline and yet DS fell asleep and did fine in it. It survived multiple plan rides with just the airplane-issued bag they put it in. I was extremely satisfied with it.
Total hijack, but how did the trip go? Did your LOs do okay with the jetlag and long flights? Did you stay with family or in a hotel?
DH and I used to travel internationally about twice a year and we're planning our first international trip with LO in the fall. I'm sooo excited but really nervous too!
I would say with all the stress and fear that was built up in regards to this trip (our first international trip since having kids) it was bearable and fun all at once! The flight over to Vietnam was 13 hours, layover, and than 2 hours. The 13 hour flight was at 11 p.m. and our oldest did great. She eventually fell asleep and slept for a good while. DS wasn't so great. He had a hard time falling and staying asleep. We barely got any sleep as we took turns dealing with him. We eventually figured out to create a makeshift bed on the floor of our seats with all our airplane blankets and pillows. Once we let him roll and do his usual whining he fell asleep for a solid 3 hours. Aside from that we walked him down the aisles A LOT. I bought several new items for them to use (Color Wonder markers and books, sewing activities, puzzles, etc. I packed enough fruit pouches for each plane takeoff to help with the air pressure. We also got a Kindle Fire on loan and loaded it up with their favorite shows. I sang a lot of songs to DS and made a puppet out of the barf bag as entertainment. He was still super antsy and since he favored me over DH he would scream bloody murder when DH would take him so I could get a break. So that made it even tougher.
Jetlag took the kids almost a week to adjust. We arrived in VN in the morning and forced them to stay awake until their usual naptime at 1. Bedtime was about 30-45 min. earlier than usual. Again, DD did pretty well at night but DS was a nightmare. He woke up at least twice for the first 2-3 nights and then went down to one wakeup towards the end of the first week. The two of them were also up for the day by 6 a.m., if not slightly earlier. Once we got to the Philippines the kids were a bit more adjusted but they definitely tired easier. Out of the 2 weeks I think only one day we pushed them to their limits for a day trip. All the other days we made sure we were back for naps to keep the routine.
We stayed with family and friends in both locations, which I believe is way nicer unless of course you get a suite or rental. We were able to have use of 2 bedrooms at both locations so we kept the kids separate and DH slept in the room with DS and I with DD. We made sure to bring some creature comforts like DD's blanket, our sound machine, DS's lovey, etc. We kept to nighttime routines as best as possible.
GL on your trip! As nutso and stressful as it all was we still had a great time!
Thanks for your response! Glad you had a nice time!

We also bought the Uppa Baby G-Lux for this purpose. It is great and actually gets more use than our big stroller. I couldn't recommend this stroller more.
