I'm not TTC but I started charting in January to better understand my cycles, which have always been long/irregular. My CM indicated possible ovulation a little over a week ago, but this was not confirmed by any obvious thermal shift. Today and yesterday I saw higher temps, but I've also recently developed a yeast infection. Does anyone know if it is common to experience higher BBT readings when the body is fighting off something like that? TIA!

    This would be a good question to ask TTGP.

    I don't know for sure if a yeast infection would effect your temps. What I do know is that CM is not 100% reliable. As long as you are temping properly that is what you should mainly go off of. I also su

    No experiance with temping but I would think if you have any type of infection that your temp would go up.  Just like LO's go up with ear infections

    Thanks! Yeah it would seem to make common sense that temps would rise slightly just like when kids are fighting off an infectionor cutting a tooth... but I'm too scared to ask the TTGP board anything since they don't know me, I'm TTA, and I'm too new to

    I'm, no Dr, but a rise in temp would make sense if you're fighting off any type of infection. I guess we'll have a better idea of what happened when you get your period. lol
