2nd Trimester

Should I be concerned...

Yesterday I had my 24 week appointment.. I am actually 24 weeks 5 days.. and baby is measuring big more like 25 weeks 4 days.. anyways, I stood on the dreaded scale and realized that I have gained 29 pounds so far.. YIKES!! and OH NO! was all I could think.. Is this normal? Have I gained to much weight so far? Any suggestions... ( I work out daily and really haven't splurged on any food) I eat about the same as I did before I was pregnant).

  • I don't see a reason to be concerned, esp. if you are working out daily and eating reasonably healthy.  I can't say it enough--every woman's body is different and every pregnancy is different!  I have read that the standard amount of weight

  • Here's my advice for pregnancy weight gain worries:
As long as you are eating well and drinking your water...and you know you aren't indulging too much...get on the scale backwards at the doctor. Ask the nurses not to mention the number to you...and
