Hey ladies. I haven't been to the doctor, yet. My OB couldn't get me in until April 3rd, but I couldn't wait that long so my friend told me about this Women's Center who is getting me in next week for a confirmation & ultrasound. (My friend went in around the exact same time of her pregnancy and everything worked out so hoping for the same).
This is my first, and I'm not sure how to describe this feeling in the lower part of my belly as pressure? Is this normal? Not to be too far in the TMI area, but I don't think it's gas as when I have passed it doesn't relieve pressure. It isn't painful, it really just feels like...pressure? Has anyone else had this or know what I'm talking about and is this normal? I think I'm okay I just don't know what this is lol and I've yet to experience it pre pregnancy (unless w/gas but it always goes away afterward in that sense).
It really is just more of an annoying feeling than anything else, just thought I'd see if anyone else knows what this could be? It didn't start until maybe yesterday. I just hit 5 weeks (if it's correct in basing it off of my LMP so yes I know I could be less or more but w/out seeing a doctor that is where I'll say I am). Like I said I thought related to gas, but seeing as how it isn't going away with the passing of it ... I am not sure ...
Re: Pressure? Possibly 5 ish weeks
Hope all is well for you.
A pressure-like feeling is pretty common and normally not anything to worry over. I'd only be concerned if it was very painful and/or accompanied by bleeding - bright red, fresh blood.
Light cramping and "spotting" is normal as well
