I remember the first time Jay walked me to my car after class one evening. I got home and tossed my backpack on the couch, looked my mom dead in the eye, and said, "Mom, I'm going to have that guy's babies."

This made me LOL!

I can remember saying something similar to my mom....except it was more along the lines of "Mom, we're going to end up together...that is, if we don't kill each other first..."

Funny because this is how DH and I were. When I clicked his page on the website I found his profile on, I told my friend, "I am going to marry him one day".

I dunno. I can't quantify it or put it into words. I couldn't tell you any specific reason why. It's in the simple things, like the things we have in common, and it's in his attitude and his approach to life. And there's always the bonus of how great he is with kids (remember, we've actually known each other for about two years and have hung out in a group setting before - he was always the one playing happily with everyone's kids). There's just something about him. He just so happens to be the cheese to my macaroni, and that's all I can really say. I'm completely serious! I mean, I'm sure I don't know when, I just know I'm gonna marry this guy someday.

She still might. I told my best friend I was going to marry DH after I'd known him ten minutes because he annoyed me so much. I still diicked him around for quite a while before I gave in

LOL - I spent 3 months telling DH to stop chasing me because I wasn't interested. Look how that worked out.
