  A nurse practitioner checked me last week at 38 weeks and 5 days. I was 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated and she stripped my membranes....and nothing happened!

  40w with my first

  If I'm dilated (I haven't bothered with checks) next week, I will get them stripped at 39w4d

  I had mine stripped on Monday so I was 39w 2 days or something and I was 4-5cm, 90% effaced and -1 station...obviously no baby yet!

  Had them stripped at 38 w 4 days and my water broke in the parking lot of the drs office!!!!
