How many of you LO's wear a helmet while on their tricycle or motorized jeep, etc? My grandparents bought my DD one, but usually, like today for instance - she was on her tricycle and I was walking literally right beside her. I'm just not sure what the norm is - I mean I felt she was safe as was, she only goes about .23 miles per hour lol.

Now a bike is a totally different story, she will definitely have a helmet on then.

A wears a helmet every time he uses his balance bike. I want him to get in the habit of always wearing a helmet when he's on a bike.
DD wears a helmet when ever she rides her bike or is in the trailer behind our bike. Its not something that I am willing to waver on, at all, and she knows it. She will also call us out if we grab her bike and put it on the driveway and not her helmet.
That being said, she does ride her balance bike in the house with out her helmet, but that's more so because she gets on and off if 7,000 times a day, and that would just get annoying over time.
I never gave a scooter or motorized ride on toy a thought, but when she does get her scooter she'll have to wear her helmet.
