I'm not hosting this year, but last year I got a Honeybaked ham and made deviled eggs, asparagus with morels and lemon-blueberry cupcakes while my mom brought potatoes au gratin.
This will be our first Easter as a family of seven. We are going to be home for Easter. I don't know if we are going to do something big for Easter, or just something small to eat. When we are home in Canada Easter is HUGE! My parents did a hunt for all of the kids and the adults as well. The little kids Easter Egg hung took three hours. My auntie and mom hid 2500 plastic eggs for 8 kids. The adult egg hunt, took four hours and we had to use our ATVs. We have a large backyard in Miami, and I think that we are going to do the Easter Egg hunt for our five outside. This last year I went from a family of 2 kids, too 5. I had one, and we were given guardian of two. I want my children to have the Easter memories that I have from growing up.
Re: What's on your Easter menu?
Ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc.
Although if it's supposed to be nice, we might just BBQ
