Advice for milk after stomach bug

So DS had the flu over a week ago and I was told to wait till Sunday to introduce milk again. Sunday night I gave him half water half milk and he took that fine, last night he had 8 oz. of just whole milk and threw it up right away. Any advice? I'm wondering if he's not used to it again and maybe slowly introduce it again. He hasn't thrown anything else up and has a normal appetite besides that. Thanks in advance :)

    Thank you :) it's just a weird thing, I thought he would be totally over it by now since he's eating/drinking fine otherwise.

    When C had a stomach bug a few months ago, she started eating solid food again about 24 hours after she first got sick, but she didn't want any milk for about another week, and it was probably two weeks before she was drinking the same amount a day that she was prior to being sick.  Our doctor didn't tell us to avoid milk, so I kept offering it.  She just kept refusing.  So maybe wait a few more days?  Sorry... not much helpful advice, just wanted to say that I've been there.  :)

    I think our pedi said 72 hours after the last vomit offer small servings of milk and just see how it goes, maybe give it another couple of days or just offer a couple of ounces
