We're nearly 100% that we're having a little girl, but I've had some friends (yes, plural) recently that we're told and expecting one gender and whoops, turns out the u/s tech was wrong! We're working on backup boy names, just in case. We both like Rider/Ryder, although I'm not sure which is the more "classic" spelling. What would your preference be?

i assume its your back up boy name, I prefer Ryder and strongly disagree that it would be gender neutral or remotely unisex, a name that sounds like ride her is not something I would give to a DD.

oh my goodness, that would be awful! Not a fan of random "y"'s but "Ryder" looks better to me in this instance
This is one of the few instances where I like the way the Y looks.
