At night I change her before so if she falls asleep while eating I don't have to wake her up... during the day I do it whenever. I FF too but she only poops once a day and it's a TON!
when my guy was little, I'd change his diaper in the middle of the night during feedings. He'd wake to eat, I'd feed him on one side, he'd fall asleep, I'd change his diaper to wake him, he'd eat on the other side and go back down.
Most of the time both, which makes for lots of diapers. She wakes up and is usually wet and hungry. She screams and cries until she is dry,, then we start eating and she poops....
At night I change her before, because she usually falls asleep while she nurses and a diaper change would wake her. During the day we typically change after, because sometimes she poops during a feeding.

I started changing before a feeding and it worked for a little while. But now I have started changing after a feeding. My son is in a better mood and responds better. Obviously, I also change whenever needed, but changing after feeding has helped my son not fight me as much. Now he just thinks its funny. Your baby will become regular as he gets used to the formula. It also helps that you stick with one kind of formula.

I agree. I do before at night for sleepy LO syndrome and whenever needed during the day. Sometimes during the day that means both before and after feedings.

Wow. If my DS fell asleep at night, I wouldn't wake him for the world.... Actually, I wouldn't wake him no matter what time it was.

During the day - whenever.
At night - before feeding, since she usually goes right back to sleep
Yes to all of this!
