I was thinking of getting Nate one of these. It is a Schwinn Easy Steer

He is the same size as the two year old girl across the street, but I am concerned it will be too small. TrU does not have them in the store.
Does anyone else have this bike? How hard is it to pedal?
Do you have one that is better???
TIA!
Re: Tricycle Recs?
We have a discontinued Little Tike Tricycle.
Its in the form of a Big Wheel, with a parent handlebar in the back. Its fantasic, however it was made I think 1.5yrs ago.
ETA: I pushed DD around the neighborhood on it before she was pedaling and found it light enough to steer even if she pointed the handlebars in the opposite direction. She is only 21.5 lbs at almost 2.5 though, so keep that in mind.
We have a Little Tykes trike as well, an older one.
I think the one you linked looks pretty good. I ended up not really liking ours. The wheels weren't 100% coupled with the pedals or something, so the girls could just put their feet on and not really have to pedal (the pedals would just stay still and click), or they'd mostly rely on their feet being carried along by momentum from me pushing with the handlebar. I ended up pushing them around like it was a glorified stroller. I expected that when they were little, but when they got bigger they were so used to it that they never did 100% of the pedaling, so it was kind of a trike fail. I feel like they would've done better with something that only worked under their power.
I think we're going to get DD2 a big wheel and see how that goes.

I think this is the one we got as a hand me down...the sticker on the front says "Kiddi-O" or something. It has the air filled tire..I think it had a push bar or basket on the backm but that is broken off....
We have the smart trike

it works great for us. DS is tiny and he fits it well. My nephews have also used it and they're huge and 4. The pedals are a great size and really easy to use velcro to strap your LO's feet to them. DS loves it!
I looked it up and I think ours is the Happy Navigator. And wow, I'm glad I got it for $50 used and not full price!
