We recently started supplementing DS while I am at school with Similac Sensitive. DH says whenever he makes it, it completely foams up filling the empty space in the bottle.
Is this normal? I thought the point of preventing gas and tummy pain was by eliminating air and bubbles? Did I buy a bad batch?
Re: If you use Similac Sensitive, please enter.
9/10 and 1/11 Normal blood work
2/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
4/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
5/11 100 mg Clomid = BFN
6/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
7/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
SA normal and HSG all clear
11/11 14 HMG shots with HCG trigger = BFN
12/11 Femara + HMG = BFP!!
It always does that. The best way we have figure out to stop it is to make all DD's bottles at the beginning of the day or the night before using a large liquid measuring cup and a hand mixer. it still foams, but not as much. We pour the bottle to where the liquid is as the level of ounces desired and the the foam only makes it just a tad more. Even when we just shake 'em, DD doen't have a problem with gas, and we use regular bottles.
