How do you think the character 'Pat' compares.
I haven't watched the movie, but I'm reading the book. The story line is interesting, I just get this sense that 'Pat' is ... Special. The way he speaks and is treated is what sets this view about him.
The character in the movie from previews doesn't seem to be what I am imagining though.

I haven't read the book, but thanks for reminding me to download it to my kindle.
The movie is great and Pat is definitely special, and for 75% of the time it's subtle which I find super realistic.
