Ex did, indeed, end up keeping his word about giving me the money he'd promised. He apparently only just got his refund. So that's good, and obviously a big relief for me. Car back on the road what-what! Sadly, most of that money is already spoken for, but whatever. Bills paid are better than being in debt.

Oh, and I thought you might get a chuckle out of his first purchases. A new computer, even though he just bought a Google Chromebook a few months ago. Three seasons' worth of cartoons. A commissioned, handmade Pyramid Head figurine to go on the mantle with his Gundam figurines.

Oh, and how that he's had a taste of surfing he's apparently getting pretty serious about it. Plus, his surfer friend is so stoked to have someone to surf with, and ex is really happy he can be there for his friend and make the guy so happy. He also wants to be a "golden god" by summer. Tanned, ripped, and the best surfer EVAR. That's why he can only spend a few minutes with DD2 in the morning - he's got to get out to the beach before they miss the tide.
