Natural Birth

NORA Herbal Tea

So, I hired a doula last week and one of her first instructions was to start drinking a daily dose of NORA tea: Nettle leaf, Oatstraw, Red raspberry, and Alpha alpha.

Is anyone else using herbs as a part of their natural childbirth plan?

Today I've had more discomfort in my back than usual, and my belly feels extra full of baby, but I don't think the things are related.

Re: NORA Herbal Tea

  • I drink at least 1 cup of Traditional Medicinals pregnancy tea daily (it has the same ingredients).

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I liked to believe that it helps tone my uterus :)

I took this last pregnancy and will take again beginning at 20 weeks. It tasted terrible to me but absolutely worth it! It really really cut down on my bleeding during and after birth. It was actually pretty amazing!

Each of my HypnoBirthing students and doula clients gets a small bag of handblended NORA pregnancy tea. I usually add a little lemon balm or red rooibos leaf for flavor.

the main ingredients have amazing properties that aide the body's preparation for birth.
