Journey Off the DEPO

I have been off the depo since Oct 2012 and am experience irregular periods which is normal after stopping. However, it still suck because I have to wait for my body to get back to normal. Since getting off when I do get my period I have the worse symptoms beforehand  sore nipples, cramps weeks before and then just waiting for a period that decides to skip a month. I know I just have to wait it out I just wish I never toke Depo with what its putting my body through

What has been your experience after DEPO?

    Took me a full year after my last shot was due to ovulate.  My cycles returned after 8 months and I started charting my basal temp (which is how I know I wasn't ovulating for 5 months).

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I just decided to just avoid putting anymore hormones in my body to make this one leave faster I was thinking about the pill but my husband told me no because he wants a kid soon ...So were just going wait till it happens ! Thanks for the reply!

    Oh wow a whole year ! Depo is really effective to effective for some women but I also have some friends that got pregnant a month after stopping depo
