Belly Bandit works!!

There were a lot of posts of the "should I or shouldn't I buy a binder" variety. Just wanted to post an update, the Belly Bandit rocks! I have been wearing mine since the day after my c-section (about 8 days now) and my belly is shrinking FAST! Like almost flat again fast and firm too. I am amazed. For reference I was really fit before pregnancy and stayed active throughout my pregnancy, almost daily workouts and gained 24 pounds so I'm sure that helped but... I'm still amazed and attribute the fast shrinking to the Belly Bandit.

This is so great to hear! Also interesting that you were able to use it from the day after your c-section. I was wondering with the incision if there was a delay in being able to use it. I have kept active during my pregnancy was was fit before as well (planning on a workout tonight

), but have gained about 30 lbs. I am definitely glad I spent the $50 on it, then! Thanks for sharing!

Do you think it would still be effective if I started using one at two weeks after delivery? Or am I too late to receive benefits from it?

This! I only gained 25 lbs and worked out the whole time. My belly flattened out as soon as the placenta came out! Even the doctor commented bc she saw it. Never used a belly wrap and my tummy gets flatter on its own. Congrats to you! Sounds like it may be your fitness level but who knows, it's still great!

I got the BFF Belly Bandit before I knew I would have a c section stubborn breech baby. I think they recommend the bamboo for c section because the material is softer but the BFF has worked great for me and I put it right over the incision.

How did you figure out what size to get?

They have got measuring instructions on their website. I used their directions along with my pre pregnancy measurements to figure it out. I am normally a size 0 or 2, I ordered a small and an xsmall. Today is day 8 and I think I'm ready to switch to the xsmall now.

For sure this plays a part. I still think its expediting it though and helping with firming too. The extra abdominal support has made recovery from the c section a lot more comfortable also.
