I still can't do it

I thought for sure now, that I'm a mom I'd be getting over the grossness of puke LOL

But oh no, I still can't handle it and feel like a complete loser as a mom in this area. (a slight exaggaration :P)

DD threw up this morning. It was "cheese curds" (ya know the milk) and some water. I found her sitting and splashing in it. What did mom do over here?

Well I gagged and immediately yelled for my husband. I forced myself to deal with it, picked her up out of her little puddle and was gagging so much that my eyes started to water.

I just can't do it! Crying

  •    Fortunately, I don't normally have a problem with it, but I did have Asher's chunky puke in my hands the other day and it made me gag too. Growing up my mother couldn't deal with it either, and if my little brother was sick, she'd call me to help him while she dry heaved nearby! At least you picked your dd up:)

I don't blame you, I don't do puke either and gag at the sight/smell of it! I could handle his spit up but not puke. He is just getting over a stomach bug and every time he threw up thankfully my husband was around and I would yell for him :) Such a good husband to clean it up, I loved the fact that every time I was the one that got puked on too, the joys of motherhood!

  • Oh good! There are others out there like me LOL

Ya know, spit up didn't bother me one bit so I was really hopeful I'd be able to handle this better, but no.

I'm also very lucky that my DH isn't really bothered by it so I can only hope he'll be around every time DD pukes HAHA

He's also very good with blood. I used to faint at the sight of blood but have gotten much much much better. I still don't like it and it affects me a bit but I can definitely handle it.

    Oh the joys... :)
