Bleeding during early pregnancy???

Hi I made a post explaining my story about bleeding and then finding out that im pregnant,so it would be appreciated if you would take the time to reply with opinions. Well I had what I thought was my period starting lasty month (Feb 27th) and it was extremely light for about 3-4 days;light enough to wear a pantyliner and it got heavier and bright red for 4 more days and finished 2 days later...It was confirmed that I am pregnant according to my HPT's and blood work but the doctors said I might've had a m/c already causing the bleeding or am going to m/c...Has anyone bled during their early pregnancy weeks? Thanks In Advance.

I bled from about 6weeks to 10 weeks. It was only heavy and bright red one day, the rest of the time it was brownish and very light. Turns out I had three SCH bleeds. I have now quit bleeding and I am 13 weeks. That being said, I have also had a miscarriage that started out as a very small amount of pink blood and got heavier and continued for about seven days. The biggest difference between the two was the blood. I do know other people who have bled (similar to their periods) for their entire pregnancy.

Thanks for your comment. I know some women can bleed and still carry full term with a healthy baby. Im no longer bleeding either since 3 days ago.Im glad. but i still feel pregnant. If I m/c,would i still have preg symptoms?

You could depending on you hormone levels. It takes a while for them to come down. With my MC, the first thing I noticed (before I started bleeding) was that my boobs were shrinking. I don't think that is necessarily a sign, but for me I believe it was my hormone level coming down. I would say don't worry until you get checked. I went to the Dr with my MC the day I started bleeding and when I started spotting with this pregnancy I went to the ER since it was the weekend. I would definetly go and get checked.

Well my boobs feel somewhat uncomfortable,nothing too bad. What about a HPT? Will the + turn very faint the lower the HCG level?

Theoretically it should as your levels are dropping. It took about 3 weeks for my levels to get back to zero, so you could still test positive for a while. Is your Dr monitoring you?

Oh I forgot to mention that i still feel bloated below my belly button. wouldnt that go away as well?

Your symptoms would probably start to fade if you miscarried. Sometimes your body doesn't realize that it has miscarried and it progesses with the pregnancy, so your hormone levels would still be rising and you would still be noticing symptoms. That is when you have to have a D&C done. I would just make my dr monitor my levels very closely.

My + are still as bright as they were when I took them a few days ago. I hope I didnt m/c. And no my Dr. is monitoring me since I moved far away from doctors office. I have to find another....I still feel bloated,Feels like my abdomen is tight a bit. Is that a m/c symptom?

I am definantly going to find a new Dr asap. I recall not having any symptoms almost the whole day yesterday,but then it kicked in again last night starting with nausea and continued to today and present.

Another thing...I had an ultrasound and nothing was seen...not even tissue from a m/c...wouldnt that be seen? I mean I am pretty familiar with the way my period clotting look like and i saw nothing that looked like tissue. I was thinking that maybe the u/s wouldve picked up on that.

I've bled throughout my pregnancy. It's why I'm on bed rest now. You can bleed and have everything be A-OK, but you can bleed and not have everything A-OK. Unfortunately we can't really tell you one way or another.

I think the only answers you're going to get for this is the repeat HCG beta and another ultrasound, my dear. I do sincerely hope everything is OK.

So I know that you posted this a couple days ago, hopefully you have more info now, but I was lurking on this board and wanted to tell you my experience.

In November, 2011, I had almost exactly the same kind of bleeding as you, thinking it was a funky period. Found out I was pregnant. ER doctor thought I might have miscarried, but it was too early to see anything. My OB/GYN monitored my beta levels and they started going up--but they didn't double like they should. After a couple weeks of weird, slow-growing numbers but no more bleeding, my doctor diagnosed my pregnancy as ectopic and I took two doses of methotrexate to dissolve it.

I am definitely not saying this to worry you, but I would make sure to get your HCG levels monitored with regular blood draws so that your doctor can be sure nothing weird is going on. If an ectopic is caught too late, it can cause a lot of damage to your tube and you can bleed internally.

Hi thank you for replying. Unfortunately I had a chemical pregnancy. Im sorry you had an ectopic. I got my blood work results yesterday and my hcg level went from 62 to 28. Im saddened by it,but It seems I get stronger when Im on here.
