Changing nipple size

My dd is almost 16 weeks. She is FF and during feedings she always turns her head. She is defintely getting distracted but I also thought maybe to go to size 2 with the nipple.
We have been using size 2 for a couple of days. She doesn't gag but still turns her head. And now she spits up a little bit with each bottle. I'm wondering if I should go back to size 1 so she wont spit it up and it didn't help with her eating better anyway.
If you have changed the nipple, what was your experience like?

    Hallie is EBF but takes a bottle 3 evenings a week. She started getting fussy with the bottle about 2 weeks ago. We switched her from a slow flow to medium flow and she took it great. I'd say inless she's getting fussy with it keep her at size 1 until she expresses that she wants a change.

    We just changed ours about a week ago and it hasn't been any better for us either.

    I switched her because she was collapsing the size 1 nipple (we have Dr. Browns) so I thought it may be because she was sucking too hard. Well now she is collapsing size 2 nipple even more... no idea!

    We just went to a level 2. I wanted to try variable flow but couldn't find in stores. He wastes more with these but otherwise does fine.
