I am having a colonoscopy tomorrow. I'm not so worried about the procedure, but I am very concerned about the 64oz of liquid mixed with a big old bottle of miralax I have to drink. That is a ton of liquid and if I remember right it is very nasty tasting. Mobile frowny face.

    When I did it (12 yrs ago ) I had to take these really salty horse pills and chug a liter of ginger ale in 15 minutes. I thought that was bad, I think you win.

    My H"s surgery is next Monday, and on Sunday he has to drink miralax twice, once in the morning, and again in the afternoon. The pre-op nurse told my H to stay close to a toilet at all times Sunday. I hope your procedure goes well!

    I mixed it in orange powerade and so far it doesn't taste bad! That is good for me!

    Grant on the other hand won't eat today, so I've had 2x more of the prep than he has eaten all day. 16oz down for me, only 8 oz for Grant. He has been crying at the bottle today, but he is not sick. Surgery scheduling still hasn't called yet, so I'm not sure when we get the g tube.

    I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago and I had the same prep as you. My advice is to keep a bucket handy while in the bathroom. TMI but it was coming out of both ends, violently. The prep was by far the worst part. Good luck!
