Cervix Exam & Bleeding

Just had my first cervix exam this morning at 39 weeks, being induced later this week. Since many of you had theirs done already and mentioned bleeding afterwards I am not freaking out, but how much blood is normal? Mine is light to medium period-like - wasn't expecting this much. Then again it's only been a couple hours, I assume it'll slow? No crazy cramping or anything, just this bleeding. It's been 9 months, just a weird sight... is it all normal?

    Is it enough that you need more than a panty liner? My Dr. said to expect spotting. If it's more than that and doesn't seem to taper off you may want to call your Dr. office just to be sure.

    If it's more than a little spotting I'd go get checked out. It shouldn't even fill a pantyliner.
