Natural Induction w/Italian Food?

Sooo..... going to give this a try for sh!ts and giggles. This Italian restaurant has a dish that is supposed to get you into labor within 48 hours.

We have a pizza place in the Bay Area that has a "prego pizza." I know a ton of people that have tried it... only heard a few success stories. I'm sure it only causes heartburn and clears you out, but I'm always up for a good excuse to eat pizza! I'm about two weeks away from giving it a whirl just because!

OMG..... I couldn't imagine trying to eat that monster! Whew! Please let us know if it works for you!

i've also heard that eggplant and tomatoes can induce labor, as well as balsamic vinager... so maybe that dish plus a side salad

i'm willing to give it a try!

Ha ha Scalinis! Are you from GA? You could go there and try! I know quite a few people who have gone to Scalinis for their Eggplant to induce, and I think it "worked" for 1. She happened to go into labor the next afternoon.

Yep, went tonight and it was fan freaking tastic. I won't even be mad if it doesn't work, it was that good! I had these heavenly garlic rolls, salad, calamari, the eggplant parm, and then the richest chocolate cake for dessert. There were 5 other huge preggos there too, lol. We'll see what happens!

Update: Well, that was a big fat NO. Baby is still doing handstands in there. Oh well, it was a really good meal though!!

I haven't heard of the Italian food, but it's so fun to try those things to induce labor. When I was close to my EDD with DD, there was an induction cookie recipe floating around. I never tried it, but it had some good reports.
