LO has been sleeping on her tummy almost since we brought her home from the hospital. We tried everything multiple times to get her to sleep on her back but she wouldn't. She had/has great neck and head strength from day one. So I wasn't worried about her and she is much happier!

I lay LO on his back but he rolls himself over on his tummy and shoves himself around his crib until he's where he wants to be and falls asleep. Sometimes he doesn't even wake up to get where he's going. Drives me kinda crazy. keeps me awake, but once he's comfy he's good.
LO slept in the RNP for the first 4.5 months. When we started to transition him to the crib he would refuse to sleep on his back. I didn't want to lay him on his tummy but that was the ONLY way he would sleep at all in his crib. So to give me peace of mind, we bought an Angelcare monitor his it monitors their breathing and I am so much more at ease letting him sleep on his tummy.
Agree with above. We started putting LO on his tummy at around 3 months for naps. He never slept well on his back, now he STTN on his tummy. He just prefers it.
