  A lot of reviews about the bumbo have negative comments about the leg holes for the reason you mentioned! I have heard better things about the bebepod being a little more roomy in that area

  I have both and I like the bepod because ther is more leg room but you cant get an activity tray for it like the bumbo. The bepod cracks easily as it is just a foam product. It cracks very easily at the post between the legs. Honestly I wish I had gotten the mammas and pappas seat instead of the bumbo. It has a tray and it is roomier. Hope that helps.

  really like mamas and papas baby snug.  lots of leg room and the tray is included.

  I have the mamas and papas one. It's roomy and the tray is better than the one on the bumbo. It can also grow with the baby because the inner seat comes out and makes a seat for a larger child. My son who is 5 and a half months old does well in it. Oh the base of the seat is also wider than the bumbo so there's not as much of a tipping over problem. Of course you still need to supervise at all times and only use it on the floor.
