West Metro Daycares

I know there are a lot of posts on here regarding daycare, so sorry for the repetition! We live in Plymouth and I am searching for a new daycare for my kids. Currently, my daughter goes to a New Horizon, but their infant rates are crazy high! We most likely cannot keep 2 kids there in the fall, when we need care to begin. (I'm a teacher, so I will be on leave until September)

Any suggestions for affordable places? 

In addition, anyone with experience with either La Petite Academy or Little Folks Daycare in New Hope? What are their rates like?

    We use a home day care in Minnetonka (off Minnetonka Blvd, a little west of 494), if you are interested in the info send me a pm.

    I can't say for certain, but more than likely you will find all the "chain" centers have similiar rates (New Horizon, La Petite, KinderCare, YMCA).  In home will likely be your best option for a cheaper rate.

    I second this. We are in a different part of the metro, but we looked at centers near us, and they were all in the same ballpark. I actually think the New Horizon near us was the cheapest. We use a small, non-chain center, and our rate is actually towards the higher end of the ballpark. Church day cares may also be cheaper, but there weren't any near us to consider so I can't say for sure.

    Our son and baby 2 will be at a in home daycare in new hope/crystal- have you tried looking in to the in homes? The Hennepin county childcare resource website helped us- our son used to go to kristis Kradle behind new hope church- i would recommend seeing if she had openings
